  One:
Our client sent us 20,000 booklets and 5,000 plastic wallets sealed with a press button stud.

We had to undo the button and insert 4 individual booklets, then press the button to close pack, a simply enough process, but one that had to be carried out 5,000 times.

Then we had to place 10 packs together and stick a barcode label on the bottom pack. Shrink-wrap the 10 packs to make up one 'wholesale' unit. Finishing up with 500 completed packs of ten, which we then shipped to the Northwest in time for an exhibition.

Although we were 2 days late in receiving the labels we still delivered the packs on schedule in time for our customer's exhibition.

Two:
Some 8 years ago one of our retail customers decided to market their specialist books via catalogue mailings. At that time they were mailing out just once or twice a year to 2 or 3,000 addresses. Since then Total Mail has reduced their costs by moving from strip seal poly bags to wrapping on-line. We have redesigned their carrier sheet so it now acts as a fax back form and improved its overall appearance. Our client emailed us in August to say "We're really pleased with our new look mailing, a simpler way for customers to tell us about address changes, etc, and we're obviously very pleased with the money we have saved. Well done to everyone at Total Mail". They have now increased the frequency of their catalogue mailings to 5 or 6 times a year and now send to over 20,000 addresses.

Three:
A seminar mailing arrived in the post one day. The label was on crooked, and the hand stamped PPI was askew and smudged, all done in-house. After a meeting with this company three years ago we took over responsibility for their mail. Their envelopes now have their logo, return address, addressee and PPI ink jet printed, and it is mailsorted for bulk discount. The response to their mailings has risen by 60%. They have increased from 6 mailings/seminars a year to ten last year and eleven this year. Which has meant for our client, more seminars, more sales and accelerated growth.
